This semester starts to get to its end. For over a month time I have studied on distance from Sweden. I have to admit that it is not even close as fun as being on the campus. Are any of you feeling the same?
Right now I am struggling with the motivation but the last assignments have to be done! This week I have written an academic essay in my module Social Media and Society. This post will be about one thing that I found especially interesting while working on it!
The essay is about social media with the question if social media are a threat to democracy or resistance to power? It is a very interesting topic that has been both fun and challenging to deal with. During the module, the lectures have covered a lot of different perspectives about social media which have been helpful for the final essay. It has also made it hard because my relation to social media is now more complex then it was before.
I want to share a youtube video with you that I came across during my work on the essay. It is from The RSA where Evgeny Mozorv discuss if the internet is empowering or Censoring citizens. This video gave me a lot of insights and thoughts.
